Game 1

Team Liquid’s ADC, Yeon, got out to an early double kill at 5:00. Yeon secured a triple kill 15 minutes in the game to maintain perfect kill participation at 5/1/3 and extended the gold lead to 2.9k. Disguised began to claw their way back in the mid game to contest TL’s lead; even stealing a baron. Team Liquid was able to hold off the comeback attempt to secure the win.

Game 2

Team Liquid shot out to a large early lead. By 6:00 they had four kills, one dragon and a 1.4k gold lead. At 12 minutes, Team Liquid aced Disguised at the dragon pit taking a 3.8k gold lead. The game quickly devolved into a disaster for Disguised as they lost every team fight and even attempts at picks were unsuccessful. At 22 minutes Team Liquid had a 9.9k gold lead, four dragons, Atakhan and the kill score was 23-3. Disguised Gaming lost their nexus in 27 minutes.

In conclusion, Team Liquid looked fantastic today. Their team fights were brilliantly executed and they were all in sync. Disguised Gaming showed some real nerves in game one and were just a couple of team fights from taking the lead from TL. Unfortunately, their momentum did not carry over to game two and they were quickly snuffed out.

Yeon claimed player of the series.

Team Liquid rests at first place in the Group A standings at 2-0. They play second-place Cloud 9 while Disguised faces LYON this upcoming weekend.
